Megaworld unveils PH’s biggest hotel development

The Philippines has welcomed its latest—and biggest to date—gem as property giant Megaworld finally opened Grand Westside Hotel, ushering in a new era of tourism in Metro Manila.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. led the inauguration on June 22, noting that Grand Westside Hotel’s opening will further strengthen the growing tourism sector in the country, as well as pave the way for more jobs, businesses, and opportunities for Filipinos.

“In fact, while many have benefitted from the actual construction of these properties, around 20,000 direct and indirect jobs will still be created throughout the operation of this hotel in the coming years. Indeed, world-class experiences are awaiting this hotel’s guests,” President Marcos said.

The latest addition to Megaworld’s portfolio covers a total land area of 10,944 sqm. and features a 19-story two-tower building with 1,530 rooms, offering guests a wide array of options from 26 sqm. superior rooms to 50 sqm executive or family rooms. It is located within Megaworld’s 3.1-hectare Westside City township in Paranaque City.

With its prime location just eight to 10 minutes away from Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Grand Westside Hotel offers unobstructed views of Manila Bay as well as the Parañaque City skyline.

Upon entering the hotel, guests are greeted by a high-ceiling lobby with a contemporary design using wood, stone, metal, and leather, exuding a warm welcome.

At Grand Westside Hotel, guests can enjoy facilities including a lap pool, kiddie pool, Zen garden, gazebo, fitness hub, and massage room. Culinary delights await at Café by Westside, Zabana Bar, Plunge Bar, and the soon-to-open LaMeza. VIP guests are welcomed at the executive lounge and meeting room.

Through Grand Westside Hotel, Megaworld aims to make the Philippines the ‘Broadway of Asia’ as the hotel will be connected to Westside Resort, an entertainment complex that will soon offer live performances, notably at The Grand Opera House, a 2,000-seating capacity theater.

At present, Megaworld Hotels and Resorts has already launched 20 hotel properties across the Philippines.
