PRO-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo said the event sought to prepare police personnel and other employees inside this camp for earthquakes.

The drill stressed the safest actions during an earthquake – drop to the ground, find cover, and hold on.

The drill commenced with a one-minute siren, prompting all PNP personnel, teachers, students, and employees to drop to the floor, take cover under tables, and hold on.

Participants proceeded outside, walking in a single file with hands protecting their heads from potential falling objects.

They moved calmly to the designated evacuation area, the parade ground in front of the administration building, to avoid causing panic during an earthquake.

The annual earthquake drill enhances awareness, preparedness, and readiness among PRO-3 personnel and employees for real-life earthquake scenarios.
